A few days ago a kind of friend of mine had people discussing the right to refuse to serve non-heterosexuals in bars and restaurants (in ‘Murica) and mentioned that it should be each owner’s choice to decide who to serve and not, and I feel like that was pretty much what people were saying some 50 years ago regarding blacks in the States. Ignorance is bliss.
Sometimes I feel like there’s so much good music out there and I want to share it all but I don’t want to be annoying, and it’s annoying.
"I am a millenial. Generation Y. Born between the birth of AIDS and 9/11. Give or take. They call us the global generation. We are known for out entitlement and narcissism. Some say it’s because we’re the first generation where every kid gets a trophy for just growing up. Others thinks it’s because social media allows us to post every time we fart or have a sandwich for all the world to see. But it seems our one defining trait is a numbness to the world. An indifference to suffering."
